Things you need to make sugar wax:

  • A Pot.
  • Quater Cup of Water.
  • Quater cup of lemon juice.
  • A Whisk.
  • A Spatula, popsicle, or Knife.
  • 1-2 Cups of granulated sugar.
  • Wax Strips.
  • A Jar ( to put wax for later use).

Steps to make Hard sugaring Wax:

  1. Combine two cups of sugar, a quarter cup of water, and a quarter cup of lemon juice.
  2. Bring that to boil and stove for 5 – 7 minutes.
  3. When it is done it should be a rich golden brown color.
  4. Remove from the stove and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
  5. Put it in your Jar.
  6. Let it cool for almost 20 minutes before using so that you don’t burn yourself (Check with your finger)
  7. Take a small portion of wax on the spatula to check the consistency, It should be tacky and sticky.
  8. Apply the wax in the opposite direction of your hair with a spatula.
  9. Flick up the end of the wax so that it will be easy to grab onto while removing it.
  10. Let it cool for few seconds and then rip it off in the direction of hair growth.
  11. Apply a little bit of pressure on the skin to avoid any swelling.

Steps to make Soft sugaring wax:

  1. Combine one cup of sugar, a quarter cup of water, and a quarter cup of lemon juice.
  2. Bring that to boil and stove for 5 – 7 minutes.
  3. When it is done it should be a Light honey color (not as dark as hard wax).
  4. Put it in your Jar.
  5. Let it cool for almost 20 minutes Until it is a little bit thicker than honey.
  6. Test it on your finger first so that you don’t burn yourself.
  7. Apply that wax onto your asking with a spatula or knife in the opposite direction of hair growth, Apply pressure with a wax strip on your skin and then remove the wax with the help of a wax strip.
